Privacy Policy

Customer service is important to us. We want your shopping and donating experience to be fast, friendly and most importantly secure. Our on-line shop front is operated by Ginger Group Web Design.

Our commitment

We are committed to protecting your personal information. Your privacy is of paramount concern to us because we appreciate and value your support. We would like to explain to you our approach to the privacy of your information.

Why we collect information

Cure Cancer Australia Foundation relies on financial support from the public to provide funding for cancer research. The Foundation uses the information we collect about our donors to provide information such as newsletters or appeals in the future. When you receive these communications we of course hope that you will choose to continue to support our work in cancer research, however you may decide not to support us or, to wait until some point in the future. The choice is yours and we will respect your wishes.

How we collect information

Cure Cancer Australia Foundation collects information in many different ways. We have information on our database concerning each person who has generously donated to us, or purchased from us. The information we collect comes from sources such as our websites, memorial donation envelopes, appeal responses and from those who send in a donation with their personal details.

We collect information through the cards@cure.org.au website at several points.  We collect the following information about primary visitors: 1) information submitted on our website and 2) when using our shopping service.

How we manage your information

The sole purpose of maintaining donor information is to allow us to communicate with our donors.

Our quarterly newsletter is sent a maximum of 4 times each year. If your details appear on our donor database, and you have not indicated to us that you wish not to receive communications from us, we will continue to send you information about Cure Cancer Australia Foundation, which we trust, will be of interest to you. Out of respect for the privacy of our supporters we present the option to not receive communications from us and you may request at any time to stop receiving our communications by sending an email to info@cure.org.auor calling us on 1300 134 567.

Cure Cancer Australia Foundation does not rent out or sell its donor information with any other organisations under any circumstances. We may share data with the following third parties: financial institutions and the courier or delivery services which need to be engaged to provide our services to you.  These third parties will use the information as follows: to facilitate payment services and to enable us to perform our services (such as delivery of products purchased on our website).
